Hi
I do think we need to help the world with climate charge get people with new jobs. Also I thougth you mite like this idea to give to the party by using wind power under the grill of the car only when it is moving the fan will power the car also the push of the brakes will power the car by sending to the battery. And also there are dynamos in the wheels like old bike lights to work the car lights. Also this idea to where you have fans in the drains that turn the sewish water and put power up to the house which is put in a generator that keep the power in to you need it then the fans start moving when you start the generator so you don't need petrol. Also you can do it in sewish plants to I can send you drawing if you like. Thank you Clare Jane Mcvety

I'm very pleased to see the Greens standing in Derbyshire Dales. The recent economic crisis should be a chance to do something dramatically different with our economy and lifestyle in general. But most other parties are just trying to get back to "business as usual" which means more economic and ecological crises.

Hi there - it's a pity there's not a candidate for North East Derbyshire too - you definitely would have got my vote if you had a candidate for our area...maybe next time... Don't think I will be voting because the other parties just aren't worth a vote! Best of luck in the seats where you have candidates standing.

All that glitters.......

2 questions about the highly polished Lib Dem offer – do they deliver and who will they get into bed with in a hung parliament?

On the first their record is very inconsistent. Opposed to incineration here but supporting it in Exeter, Plymouth and Essex (Green oppose all incineration as unnecessary), support wind power but voting against schemes in Cornwall, Cumbria, Devon and Worcestershire; against airport expansion, but not in Birmingham, Carlisle, Exeter, Liverpool, Manchester and Norwich, and of course against road building but supporting by-passes in Newbury, Bath, the M74 and in Chesterfield the Brimington and Staveley.

On the second it looks increasing likely that the golden glitter is turning blue.

I say don’t mess around, if you mean it green it, a vote for what you really believe is never a wasted vote.

Take care,

Duncan

My gut instinct is to support you, lots of good ideas on the website. Trouble is, Lib Dems seem a better half-way house as they look to be on a roll this election. Any move towards PR should benefit the current minority parties.

Liked the suggestion from John Humphreys' 'Today' interviews in Birmingham this week that a hung parliament was attractive to many people.

What are you doing to oppose the unwanted/unneeded incinerator at Dunston - a pressing local health hazard and threat to the local community? (http://www.againstincineration.org.uk)

Congratulations to Peter Allen, Mike Shipley and all Green campaigners in High Peak for making such an intelligent impact on the dire local political scene.Tribal affiliation as always keeps me on the sidelines, but I will speak privately as encouragingly as possible. I look forward with keen relish to watching you run rings round the others at the hustings !

Ilkeston is another example of repeated discussion about restoring train services - the station here was closed in The wake of Beeching. It may be true that there are good bus connections to Nottingham and Derby, but as trains still pass directly next to the town and it lies close to the junction of lines to both Nottm and Derby it would be a very good location for a station from where journeys northwards to Sheffield and beyond and east- and westwards on the cross country routes as well as southwards to stations to London would also be directly possible.
